A BETTER LIFE THOUGHT:
46 years ago tonight, Lorraine and I were getting ready for our wedding rehearsal. The rehearsal, the wedding and the reception would all take place in her church in Celina, Ohio. My mom and dad and my grandparents sat in the front row. They are all in heaven now. The only expenses were the fabric for Lorraine's dress, my tux, the minister's fee and the ice cream served with grandma's cake which all totaled about $500. My how times have changed. Tomorrow we will have been married 46 years. It has been an amazing journey with Lorraine worthy of our time and energy for all we've learned to keep our relationship special. Lorraine has proven she meant the words "for better for worse, for richer for poorer, in sickness and in health." We're in it for the long haul "till death do us part." She gave birth to our three beautiful daughters who in time gave to us two special sons-in-law and two wonderful granddaughters. Together Lorraine and I have traveled in all 50 states, in 16 countries and on 5 continents. We have lived in 4 states. Life has been an adventure with Lorraine. She is one of the best choices I have ever made. I think I am the most blessed man on earth. For those interested, I am adding two pics.
